Public directory data
Public garage pages may show business name, address, city, market, claim status, public phone or website, ratings, services, hours, and last-updated timestamps.
Last updated May 20, 2026. CarZen operates a public garage directory, lead-capture pages, and authenticated tools for garage owners and drivers. This page explains what we collect, how we use it, and how to contact us about privacy or deletion requests.
Public garage pages may show business name, address, city, market, claim status, public phone or website, ratings, services, hours, and last-updated timestamps.
Driver-intent forms collect postal code, service category, market, locale, source, user agent, and an IP hash for rate limiting and request handling. Lead-magnet downloads collect email, optional name, guide metadata, and campaign tags so we can send the requested guide and follow up by email.
Garage-owner and driver accounts use profile, quote, booking, message, billing, notification, and support data to run the product.
When enabled, public pages send page-view and click events to our analytics provider with sanitized metadata such as route, locale, and surface type. We avoid sending raw personal content in those events.
We use information to publish and maintain garage listings, route claim requests, send requested guides or follow-up emails, provide booking and quote workflows, deliver notifications, prevent abuse, and support the public website and authenticated product surfaces.
We share information with service providers that help us host the site, send email, store data, process analytics, and operate the product. Public directory facts are visible on public pages by design and may also be indexed by search engines.
We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service, answer support requests, keep records for abuse prevention or legal obligations, and maintain operational history. Public listing data can remain visible while a garage profile is published. Lead and analytics-related records may remain in internal systems for a longer period when needed for operational, security, or compliance reasons.
You can ask us to correct or delete account data, public listing data, or lead records by using the data deletion page or by contacting support. You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails.
Privacy, correction, or deletion requests can be sent to [email protected] or submitted from the data deletion page.
CarZen does not rely on Clerk or dashboard account data inside the public site. The public website is separate from the garage-owner dashboard, and public forms are limited to the fields needed for the specific workflow on the page.
